If financial limitations are holding you back, you’re exactly who we’re here for. The Gaygency Foundation offers no-cost business development services to help level the playing field and ensure every LGBTQ+ entrepreneur has a fair shot at success.
Benefits of Becoming a Recipient
The Gaygency Foundation provides selected recipients with a fully funded six-month program designed to give you everything you need to build, brand, and grow their business with confidence.
Months 1 & 2
Business Basics
You'll be paired with a CPA and bookkeepers to plan and understand your numbers.
Then, with the guidance of your dedicated business coach, you'll set targets and goals for your business, develop your mission and create a 1 and 3 year road map.

Branding
Next, you'll work with a dedicated marketing team to hone in on your brand messaging, identity and marketing strategy.
Together, we'll improve your online presence and prepare you to reach new consumers and lay the foundation for growth.

Months 5 & 6
Advertising
Your final few months will be spent on testing your new messages, developing new content and creative and leveraging ad platforms to reach new customers.

How do I apply for support?
Applications open several months before each program cycle. To apply, visit our website, complete the application form, and submit the required information about your business and needs.
When do the programs start?
The Gaygency Foundation runs two cohorts per year:

Do I need to have an existing business to apply?
You can apply if you are in the process of starting a business or if you already own one but need assistance in areas like incorporation, branding, or marketing.
What do recipients receive in the six-month program?
Selected recipients receive:
• CPA consultation to assess and refine their business formation (LLC, S-Corp, etc.).
• Business coaching from LGBTQ+ industry professionals.
• Accounting and bookkeeping support from a queer-owned accounting firm.
• Branding and website development to establish a strong online presence.
• Social media and marketing strategy to reach customers effectively.
• Three months of paid advertising support.

The program is 100% funded by donations and corporate sponsorships, meaning there is no cost to selected recipients.
How are recipients selected?
Applications are reviewed by a selection committee based on:

How is the Foundation funded?
The Foundation is funded through corporate donations, individual contributions, and sponsorships that allow us to offer services at no cost to our recipients.
Can I donate to support LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs?
Yes! Donations help provide branding, legal support, and advertising funds for small business owners. You can donate online through our donation page.
Does The Gaygency Foundation take a percentage of the businesses’ profits?
No. This program is a grant-based support initiative, and recipients are not required to give a percentage of their business earnings.
Can I apply if I’m outside the U.S.?
At this time, the program is only available to businesses based in the United States.

You can subscribe to our email list on our website to stay informed about upcoming opportunities.
Can I reapply if I’m not selected?
Yes! If you are not selected for the current cohort, you are welcome to reapply for future cycles. Each cohort has a limited number of spots, and we encourage applicants to continue refining their business goals and reapplying. Applications open leading up to each July 1st and January 1st start date.
